Ladies Skillet Throw
Sunday June 6, 2010 - 12 Noon

FREE EVENT

Ladies need to register by 11:30 a.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010

 

AWARDS:
1st, 2nd and 3rd Place ribbons will be given in each age group (18-35 years old, 36-49 years old and 50 & older)
. 1st Place winners of each age group will throw for over-all prize- $10.00 Gift Card!.
RULES:
1.     
Open to the world’s women 18 and over.
2.    
Engine Show will provide skillet.
3.    
Skillets that will be used are made of steel and weigh approximately 3-4 lbs.
4.    
Throw will be measure for distance and must be within the marked throwing field. Width of throwing field will be 20 foot wide.
5.    
Throws outside of throwing field, will be disqualified.
6.    
Throws are to be underhand only.
7.    
No practice throws are allowed.
8.    
Three throws per contestant – best throw of 3 will be counted.
9.    
Crossing the foul line will result in disqualification. No additional throw after third throw.

10.   Register at the Chamber Tent at the Engine Show by 11:30am Sunday, June 6, 2010, or by mail.

Rolling pin that will be used is made of wood.
4.

PRIZE MONEY – SPLIT THE POT

Half of the proceeds will benefit the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, and the other half will be distributed to the teams coming in 1st   [50%], 2nd [30%] & 3rd place [20%].

TO SECURE YOUR SPOT IN THE COMPETITION SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY FORM BY JUNE 1, 2010.

THIS IS NOT A SANCTIONED EVENT.

Up to 96 teams will be accepted, 8 teams per pool.  Match up of teams will be by lotto.  $30.00 per 2-player team must be registered by 6/1/09. Entry fee $40.00 per 2-player team for walk ups. Top teams will advance to Championship round based on participation. Check- in begins at 10am, play begins at 11am. Food and beverage vendors will be available on site. Don’t be shut out pre-register. This tourney will fill up fast!!!
